The device has a clamping element (1) for covering and securing attaching lines, which is inserted in a recess (3) of a tool (2). The clamping element is elastically deformable by a rotary motion, such that the contact surfaces (14,15) arranged along the recess (3) on both sides recesses (4,5) are frictionally secured for closing the recess (3) and are detachably held for opening of the recess (3).
