PURPOSE: A crash box and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to be easily welded on a shock absorbing unit after drawing, so that a manufacturing process is simple. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a crash box comprises following steps. Materials with foldable parts are settled on a die with grooves. The materials settled on the die are pressed with a punch corresponding to the grooves in order that the materials are formed in accordance with the shape of the punch. The foldable parts are connected to a connection part with an extended structure. The grooves are formed into a round shape or circular shape, and the materials comprise diameters larger than the diameter of the groove. |
