<p>A method for cooling at least one vehicle brake by at least one cooling device which is switched from a first state in which the cooling of the brake is effected by the cooling device into at least one second state in which the cooling effected by the cooling device is deactivated, wherein a probability of an application of the brake is calculated by means of an estimation module 10, wherein the cooling device is switched from the second state into the first state in dependency on the probability before the application of the brake actually happens. The probability may be dependent on recorded driving pattern, particularly along a route that has already been driven, additionally the probability may be dependent on the position of the vehicle along a route, traffic management information (TMS), road signs etc.</p> |
