PURPOSE: A nonlinear control method of a gas generator is provided to obtain the high performance of control so as to be insensitive to the change of inner space size. CONSTITUTION: A nonlinear control method of a gas generator calculates the difference between an input command (11) and a pressure sensing signal (15) that senses the substantial pressure of the gas generator (10), and uses the calculated difference as the nozzle throat size adjusting valve control signal by applying a control gain (13) to the calculated difference. The control gain is continuously changed by the size of the inner space of the gas generator that is estimated by the pressure sensing signal and a space estimator (16).
