A socket is disclosed. The socket according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a case having a plug insertion hole; power supply terminals arranged in the case while being electrically disconnected; and a switch device provided in the case to make the power supply terminal be electrically connected when a plug connection rod is inserted into the plug insertion hole. The switch device is elastically supported by a first elastic member in the case, and includes a sliding body installed to be able to move in a first direction in which the plug connection rod moves into or moves out from the plug insertion hole, the sliding body electrically connecting the power supply terminals while moving by an external force. The sliding body includes one pair of guide rods which are arranged at left and right sides of the sliding body to be spaced apart from each other, wherein each of the one pair of guide rods has one end being able to rotate in the case and the other end caught at a guide groove formed at the sliding body after passing the plug insertion hole, and is supported by a second elastic member in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The guide groove includes: a vertical guiding portion extending in the first direction, a horizontal guiding portion extending in the second direction, and a slope guiding portion extending while being inclined between the vertical guiding portion and the horizontal guiding portion. |
