PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent teeth from being disengaged by impact applied during a drop test.SOLUTION: An optical pickup 5 has a slide base 5a supported by a guide rod 15 on a driver chassis so as to be slidable. A lead screw 16 parallel to the guide rod 15, and a feed motor for rotating the lead screw 16 are arranged on the driver chassis. Teeth 18 provided on the slide base 5a are engaged with the lead screw 16. The teeth 18 has: a base frame part 34 formed from a synthetic resin material and secured to the slide base 5a; and an engagement frame 36 integrally formed on the base frame part 34 via an elastic piece 35 able to be elastically displaced, and engaged with the lead screw 16 across it. A teeth part 45 integrally projecting from the engagement frame 36 is engaged with the lead screw 16. A downward projection 37a is provided integrally on the underside of a tray 1 so as to approach the upper face of the engagement frame 36 over the slide range of the engagement frame 36. |
