PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine that is a shield mechanism for shielding radio noise occurring at a plug cap and can easily post-fit a conductive material.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 10 comprises: an ignition coil 15 that electrifies an ignition plug 19 with high-voltage current and ignites fuel in a cylinder formed in a cylinder block 11 to combust the fuel; a plug code 18 connecting the ignition coil 15 and the ignition plug 19; a plug cap 20 in which a metal fitting connecting a conductor wire 18a of the plug code 18 and a terminal 19a of the ignition plug 19 is covered with an insulation cover; and a linear or band like conductive material (a metal wire 21) wound on the plug cap 20. The conductive material (the metal wire 21) is grounded to the cylinder block 11. |
