PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which shows good temperature followability of a treatment liquid with respect to an output of a heater, can exactly control the temperature of the treatment liquid and achieves energy saving when a spectacle lens is immersed in the treatment liquid to perform a surface treatment.SOLUTION: A surface treatment device of a spectacle lens is provided, which includes: a treatment tank 2 for reserving a treatment liquid 8 to be used for the surface treatment of a spectacle lens by immersing; heating means 3 for heating the treatment liquid 8 reserved in the treatment tank; and control means for controlling driving of the heating means 3. The heating means 3 comprises induction heating means. It is preferable that: the control means controls driving of the heating means 3 to bring the temperature of the treatment liquid 8 to a target temperature or to hold at the target temperature in a surface treatment process of the spectacle lens; and that in a standby step in which the spectacle lens is not subjected to the surface treatment but held in a standby state, the control means controls driving of the heating means 3 to bring the temperature of the treatment liquid 8 to a standby temperature set lower than the target temperature or to hold at the standby temperature. |
