The invention relates to an insertion tool for inserting a string-shaped emergency seal into a rear groove of a strand-shaped sealing profile for shaft and tunnel constructions. The aim of the invention is to facilitate the insertion of an auxiliary or emergency seal into a groove of a sealing profile. In order to achieve said aim the invention provides an insertion tool (1) for inserting a string-shaped emergency seal (16) into a rear groove (15) of a strand-shaped sealing profile (14) for shaft and tunnel constructions, comprising a) a tube (2) for receiving the emergency seal (16), the tube comprising a leading end (3) having a front opening (17) and a rear end (4) having a rear opening (18) and b) a projection (5) arranged in the region of the leading end (3) at the outer peripheral surface of the tube (2), wherein the projection has on the face thereof remote from the tube a head (6) for engaging in the rear groove (15) with at least one sliding surface (7) or roll. |
