CUTTING EDGE STRUCTURE OF LINING ELEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF UNDERGROUND STRUCTURE, AND BORING METHOD USING ITS CUTTING EDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting edge structure and a boring method using its cutting edge, which can contribute to an increase in installation accuracy by preventing settlement of a lining element when boring is performed by manual excavation.SOLUTION: A cutting edge 20 includes a bottom plate 21, a top plate 22 which has a leading end protruded forward with respect to the bottom plate 21, and a pair of lateral plates 23 for connecting the bottom and top plates 21 and 22 together. The cutting edge is connected to a leading end of a lining element for penetrating natural ground and used so that boring can be performed while a cutting face is manually excavated. The bottom plate 21 has an inclined plane part 21a which is inclined obliquely forward in a boring direction and the leading end of which is gradually raised.
