PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, a power demand monitoring device, and an information processing method and program capable of improving the indexes used in excess determination on predicted demand to ensure that the excess determination is performed more accurately than before.SOLUTION: Provided is an information processing device for deriving an alarm level which serves as an index for excess determination on predicted demand representing the predicted value of power demand at the end of a demand cycle, the information processing device comprising: guideline setting means for setting two intersecting straight lines where temporal change rates of power in the demand cycle are both positive and also setting a power value at the end of the demand cycle in one of the guidelines where the temporal change rate is small to a value equal to or less than reference power which serves as a reference for the excess determination; function expression derivation means for deriving a function expression for the power demand successively approximating the guidelines; and alarm level derivation means for deriving the predicted demand corresponding to the function expression for the power demand as the alarm level. |
