PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method, suitable for making a plurality of substrates laminated on two sides by applying a plurality of laminate sheets to the plurality of corresponding substrates.SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a lamina supply member capable of holding a lamina supply substance, from which successive lamina sheets can be cut. A cutter is disposed in the apparatus. A heater is provided for bonding laminate sheets to corresponding sides of a substrate, and whereby corresponding top and bottom laminated substrates are formed. The lamina supply substance is characterized by a current front edge. The lamina supply substance is cut through along a cutting-plane line at a predetermined distance from the current front edge of a lamina. At the cutting-plane line, there are provided a first laminate sheet having a rear edge and a lamina supply substance including the next front edge. There is substantially no wasted lamina material between the rear edge of the laminate sheet and the next front edge of the lamina. The laminate sheet is then bonded to a corresponding substrate. The steps, in which bonding is performed by a plurality of times, are repeated to yield a plurality of laminated substrates. |
