<p>An attendance management device (100) equipped with: a control unit (102) that activates, on a portable terminal (10) having an imaging function, an application that uses the imaging function, when the portable terminal (10) communicates wirelessly with a relay device (80) provided at a location where a user arrives/leaves; a imaging unit (104) that uses the imaging function by means of the application activated by the control unit (102) to capture an image of a user's face; an extraction unit (106) that obtains facial image data for a user recognized from the captured image and extracts characteristic point data from the use's facial image data; and a recording unit (110) that records, as attendance information in an attendance information storage unit (112), the current time as well as user punching information based on the characteristic point data.</p> |
