Disclosed is a method for providing a GUI including application list information listed in the order of frequency of use when a Wi-Fi device connects an AP. A Wi-Fi access application is executed to connect with AP. A profile to store memorizes and manages security information, such as SSID and password of the AP, and an application ID using data through the AP. When the next connection to the AP occurs, a GUI, such as a pop-up indicating an application list for Wi-Fi which users use a lot is immediately displayed. A user friendly interface by which a user can move to a desired application for Wi-Fi is provided.
