A method for automated control of vegetable oil production comprises temperature measuring and control in first and second zones of an extrusion press by changing load level of heating units, measuring and control of load current of an electric drive of extrusion press by changing rotation velocity of a raw material dosing screw, compensation of action of cross-connection from the circuit of load current of electric drive of extrusion press on a temperature control loop in the second zone of extrusion press. According to the value of changing the rotation velocity of raw material dosing screw the transport delay is compensated by a Smith predictor in the control loop of load current of electric drive of extrusion press.
