The purpose of the present invention is to wash and disinfect sand in a sand table; to prevent the compaction and irregularities of the sand; to increase the duration of disinfection by keeping the bottom of the sand wet with water containing a disinfectant for a predetermined period while the top of the sand exposed to the atmosphere is dry; and to turn the sand upside down while the sand is being washed by injecting pressurized water to a fountain nozzle (N) at the bottom of the sand after the completion of disinfection. |
