<p>Systems for realizing a 50Gb/s using serializer/deserializer lanes, devices, and methods are disclosed. One device includes a circuit unit for providing a medium access control (MAC) interface. The MAC interface relates a port including a 50 Gb/s link rate. Therefore, the device comprises a circuit unit for generating Ethernet frames from data received from the MAC interface and a circuit unit for distributing the Ethernet frames to a group of the serializer/deserializer lanes related to the port. In addition, the device comprises a circuit unit for transmitting the Ethernet frames distributed on each lane of the SERDES lanes in the 50/N Gb/s rate.
