A method for providing a financial transaction service using a vehicle terminal with a WiBro communication function according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: after a Wibro-based communication channel is switched to a first communication channel between the vehicle terminal and a financial company server, receiving security module information provided in the vehicle terminal through the first communication channel; authenticating whether a security module is valid and if the security module is valid, transmitting financial service program activation information to the vehicle terminal through the first communication channel; activating the security module of the vehicle terminal by the financial service program activation information and connecting a second communication channel based on encryption according to the non-face-to-face financial transaction control of the activated security module; receiving vehicle terminal information from the vehicle terminal through the second communication channel; authenticating the terminal information to confirm the validity of the vehicle terminal; if the validity of the vehicle terminal is confirmed, transmitting vehicle terminal authentication information to the vehicle terminal through the second communication channel; receiving a transaction request text including at least one among account information to be checked, a password, and inquiry period information from the vehicle terminal to which the vehicle terminal authentication information is received through the second communication channel; processing transaction inquiries according to the transaction procedure of a financial terminal using the transaction request text; and generating a transaction response text including the transaction inquiry processing result and transmitting the generated transaction response text to the vehicle terminal through the second communication channel.
