PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery housing device capable of achieving low costs for an intermediate electrode disposed between batteries arranged in a row and easily performing assembling within a short time.SOLUTION: A multimeter 1, which includes a partition 4 for partitioning between batteries 90 in a housing part 3 for housing the plurality of batteries 90 arrayed in a row, and intermediate electrodes 6a and 6b for serially connecting the batteries 90 in the partition 4, is configured by using two electrodes, i.e., a conductive positive electrode 7 where the intermediate electrodes 6a and 6b come into contact with the positive electrodes of the batteries 90, and a conductive negative electrode 8 where they come into contact with the negative electrodes of the batteries 90. The negative electrode 8 has an elastic body for energizing the batteries 90. The positive electrode 7 and the negative electrode 8 are held in a state where the positive electrode 7 and the negative electrode 8 can be brought into contact with each other by the partition 4. |
