PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of reusing an attachment member that is arranged on a light path from a light source to deflection means, and from which an optical element is detached.SOLUTION: An optical scanner such as a writing device 5 includes: a light source 52; deflection means such as a polygon scanner 53 performing deflection scanning of light emitted from the light source 52; an optical element such as a cylindrical lens 59 arranged on a light path from the light source 52 to the deflection means; and an attachment member such as a holding member 104 to which the light source 52 and the optical element are attached. The attachment member includes a plurality of adhesive fixing parts such as a cylindrical lens attachment part 103 to which the optical element is adhesively fixed; and the plurality of adhesive fixing parts are arranged around an optical axis.
