The invention relates to a method and a measurement device for qualitatively and quantitatively analysing analytes in gaseous or liquid samples, by simultaneously, or quasi-simultaneously, analysing characteristic spectral absorption lines of atoms, ions, or molecules, and the corresponding background absorption caused by interfering substances in the sample. In particular, the invention relates to the corresponding photometric analysis of mercury in gaseous samples. |
