<p>Method for assembling prefabricated elements (11, 11'), intended for the building industry. The panels (11, 11') which are of the type carrying at least on a portion of their peripheral edge a profiled section (28) are connected edge-to-edge along two of their assembly edges (34, 36) with interlaying a guiding connector (40) comprising guiding means (41) and a guiding part (42). The linking means (41) are, in one form of execution, comprised of an axially threaded stay adapted to receive the rods (30) of the panels (11, 11'). The connection - rod 30-stay 41-rod 30 - enables to compress the seals (47) and to obtain, in cooperation with the guiding part (42), an excellent edge-to-edge junction of the panels (11, 11').
