After a unidirectional nonwoven web has been laid, it is carried to at least 1 carrier. The carrier is prepared with a bonding agent, such as adhesive filaments. They are then carried together through a pressure point for bonding in a continuous process. The bonding agent, such as adhesive filaments, is laid on at least 1 carrier to be brought to the non-woven web at the pressure station. The body of the material is formed by an untwisted roving taken from at least one bobbin, to be spread out to give a unidirectional web before reaching the pressure station, or running rovings are thinned out to give the web. |
