PURPOSE: An input device is provided to form first and second grid patterns with different directions and to apply a calculation method using a trigonometric function to light which is reflected in a housing through each grid, thereby sensing an inputted coordinate. CONSTITUTION: A first grid(213) of a housing(210) is extended to a first axis direction. A second grid(215) of the housing is extended to a second axis direction which intersects a first axis. A light emitting unit(220) irradiates light to the housing. Light detection units(230-236) detect the light reflected in the housing.
