PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content receiving apparatus capable of reducing the time to display the latest menu screen.SOLUTION: A content receiving apparatus 100 comprises: a message processing section 102 that receives an update request of screen constituent elements for displaying the menu screen; a screen constituent element updating section 103 that obtains the screen constituent elements; a data updating section 104 that obtains data used for menu screen to be displayed on the basis of the screen constituent elements; a storage 108 that stores screen constituent elements obtained by the screen constituent element updating section 103 and the data obtained by the data updating section 104; and a screen drawing section 105 that draws the menu screen at the startup of the content receiving apparatus 100 using the screen constituent elements previously obtained by the screen constituent element updating section 103 and the data previously obtained by the data updating section 104. |
