PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal gear pump in which a pressure jump is avoided when a space between teeth is opened to a discharge region at the end of a separator during rotation of gears.SOLUTION: An internal gear pump includes an axial disk 12 for lateral sealing. The axial disk 12 has a plurality of pilot control passages 21 that communicate with a discharge side of the internal gear pump and are open to between a root circle and a tip circle of a ring gear and a pinion of the internal gear pump. Owing to the pilot control passages 21, a pressure in a space between the teeth of the ring gear and the pinion is gradually increased so that a pressure jump is avoided when the space between the teeth is opened to a discharge region at the end of a separator during rotation of the gears. |
