PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lock from being opened from outside a gate through a small window or prevent the small window from becoming a foothold for getting over the gate, even when the small window for enabling an operation of a locking means and an operation of a key for locking the locking means, from outside the gate, is formed in the gate. SOLUTION: In this gate fitted with the locking means comprising a gate bar 2 and a drop rod 3, the small window 10 is formed in a position in which the locking means can be operated by inserting a person's hand; an opening/closing plate 14 for opening/closing the small window 10 is attached to the small window 10; and the opening/closing plate 14 can be locked with the key 15.
