The slide bearing (1) has slide bearing bush (3) through which electrically conductive shaft (6) is guided, and which is formed as composite material and has lubricating layer (5) and farther layer (7) of different electrical conductivities. The lubricating layer and farther layer are formed such that lubricating layer has lubricating surface for bush guided shaft and wear of farther layer is caused by shaft contact of lubricating layer according to wear of bush. A measuring device (9) measures electrical resistance between the farther layer and shaft guided through bush. An independent claim is included for method for determining the wear of slide bearing.
