Portable and dismountable hydraulic lift jack for vertically displacing a platform, said hydraulic lift jack comprising at least: - a) a vertical double acting hydraulic lifting shaft (1); - b) a pump pedal (20); - c) an operated pump shaft (19); - d) an hydraulic reservoir (7); - e) a connector (31); - f) at least one movable assembly of swivel safety hook (6); and - g) at least one top hook (5), - wherein the operated pump (19) is positioned close to the double acting shaft (1), connected to the connector (31) and operable in a direction about parallel to the sliding axis of the double acting hydraulic lifting shaft (1), in a preferred embodiment the operated shaft is a foot operated shaft and/or the axis of the operable shaft (19) is about to the sliding axis of the double acting hydraulic lifting shaft(1), and the process for manufacturing the portable and dismountable hydraulic lift jack including known assembly methods for assembling the constituting parts and lifting method of a platform on a scaffold that involves a portable and dismountable hydraulic high lift jack of the invention.
