PURPOSE: To simply reduce the surface stickiness of a prepreg down to a desired level without adverse effect on the flexibility of the prepreg by applying a powder of a specific particle size to at least one surface of a prepreg sheet made of reinforcing fibers and a thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION: A sheet of prepreg made of reinforcing fibers such as carbon fibers or glass fibers and a thermosetting resin suitably an epoxy resin or a phenolic resin is sprinkled with a powder having particle sizes of 5-100μm, preferably 10-50μm, suitably an acrylic polymer such as acrylic resin on at least one surface. The application weight of the powder is 1-5g/m<2> , when an acrylic polymer is used. The powder is sprinkled, for example, by allowing the powder particles to fall freely or by allowing the prepreg to pass through the fluidized bed of the powder.
