A quantum rod luminescent display device according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: a display panel including a quantum rod layer in which a plurality of quantum rods, formed between a first substrate and a second substrate facing the first substrate, are arranged in one direction; a backlight unit prepared in a lower part of the display panel; and a short-wavelength pass filter (SPF) film formed between the display panel and the backlight unit. As a result, it is possible to provide a display device with low power consumption and high transmittance and maximize the efficiency of light from the backlight unit by including a light efficiency enhancement film.
