PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhead carrier capable of saving a space to install a traveling body.SOLUTION: An overhead carrier is provided with a lifting operation mechanism 13 which performs lifting and moving operation of a supporting body 12 with respect to a travelling body. The lifting operation mechanism 13 has; a link mechanism 21 which can be expanded and contracted in a vertical direction; and an expansion and contraction drive section 22 which expands and contracts the link mechanism 21. The overhead carrier is also provided with a swing drive section 19 which: supports an upper connection section 18 where an upper edge section of the link mechanism 21 is connected thereto so that the upper connection section 18 can be swung around a horizontal shaft center L1 along a horizontal direction with respect to a body section 15; and swings the upper connection section 18 around the horizontal shaft center L1 with respect to the body section 15. |
