PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve proper light adjustment control even at a high shutter speed.SOLUTION: A light emission control unit acquires a delay time from when a light emission trigger indicating a light emission start timing of a strobe is issued to the strobe to when light emission luminance of the strobe reaches a predetermined value. An imaging control unit controls an exposure start timing on the basis of the delay time. A gain calculation unit calculates a correction amount used in correcting brightness of a photographed image photographed with the exposure start timing on the basis of the delay time. The present technology can be applied to an information processing apparatus capable of controlling an imaging operation.
