<p>With this wheel position detection device, a first control unit (23) of each transmitter (2) detects an angle of the transmitter (2) on the basis of a gravitational acceleration component contained in a detection signal from an acceleration sensor (22), transmits a frame repeatedly as said angle reaches a predetermined transmission angle, and randomly sets the transmission angle for each trip. A second control unit (33) of a receiver (3) obtains positions of teeth of gears (12a through 12d) on the basis of detection signals from wheel speed sensors (11a through 11d) and identifies respective wheels (5a through 5d), on which the transmitters (2) from which the frames are transmitted are mounted, on the basis of the positions of the teeth which are detected as the frames are received.</p> |
