PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately suppress an increase of photographic history information used for making a camera to reproduce user's preferable photographing settings.SOLUTION: A digital camera 1 includes: a recording means 2 for recording details of settings by an operation during photographing in a storage medium 7 as photographic history information; a setting reproduction means 2 for reproducing the details of the settings on the basis of the photographic history information recorded in the storage medium 7; a determination means 2 for determining whether or not new details of settings are different from the photographic history information recorded in the storage medium 7; and a control means 2 for controlling the recording means 2 to update and record, in the storage medium 7, the details of the settings determined to be different from the photographic history information by the determination means 2. |
