Device for extension of the bottom area of a rearing unit (1) for aquatic organisms, especially flat fish. The rearing unit (1) comprises a net bag (2) having side walls (3) and a bottom (4) of net fabric. At least one shelf (15) is situated in the rearing unit (1) in order to increase the effective bottom area, said shelf having an opening (16), preferably in the centre. The shelf (15) is comprised of an outer shelf ring (9) and an inner shelf ring (10). The wall (3) of the net bag (2) is tightened above and below the shelf (15), so that the shelf (15) is held in place at the side wall (3). |
