摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical decontamination method capable of improving decontamination performance, easily giving disposal of secondary waste and producing less secondary waste. SOLUTION: In a chemical decontamination method, where an oxide film is dissolved in combination of reduction and oxidation, nitric acid based organic acid and peroxo disulfuric acid are used as reducing agent and as oxidizing agent, respectively. Two reactions including reduction: Fe2 O3 +(COOH)2 +4H<+>→2 Fe<2+> +2CO2 +3H2 O and oxidation: Cr2 O3 +3S2 O8 <2-> +4H2 O→Cr2 O7 <2-> +6SO2 <2-> +8H<8> are applied. Peroxo disulfuric acid water solution produces peroxo disulfuric acid salt water solution and oxidizes and dissolves a oxide film including radioactive nuclear species on the surface of an object to be decontaminated with the oxidizing force of peroxo disulfuric acid.
