<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a risk such as setting change due to unauthorized access from the outside. <P>SOLUTION: A network management system 1 includes: one or more network devices 3 configured to control inter-network communication on the basis of setting information; one or more client terminals 4 remotely connected to the predetermined network device 3 for operating setting information, and configured to perform access to the setting information; and a server 2 having a database for storing the user account, password, and operation restriction information indicating operation authority with respect to the setting information of each user and device information of the network device 3.
