PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug cap that incorporates a connecting fitting to steadily connects a plug terminal of a spark plug and the high voltage cord connected with the secondary coil of the ignition coil. SOLUTION: The connecting fitting 40 incorporated in the plug cap is composed of a plug terminal inserting portion 41, a high voltage cord holding portion 42 and a pin terminal 43 for connecting with a high voltage cord, which is extended in the holding portion 42 direction and pressure-inserted in the conducting core exposed from the end of the high voltage cord. The plug terminal inserting portion 41 is formed by bending the metal plate in a nearly C shape for the plug terminal to be inserted. The high voltage cord holding portion 42 is composed of a pair of holding portions of a hollow semi-cylindrical shape extending from end edges of the plug terminal inserting portion 41, and a small hole 423 is provided at the proximity of both end portions of one of the holding portion 421 (422). And a small projection 424 is provided at the both end edges of the other holding portion 422 (421) for inserting and locking with the above small hole 423.
