PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized antenna that has stable communication characteristic and superior durability and to provide a method of inexpensively manufacturing such an antenna. SOLUTION: This small-sized antenna 1A is constituted of a plurality of single cores 2 formed in plate-shaped bodies, bendable or elastically deformable connecting members 3 which are respectively arranged on one side faces of the cores 2 for connecting the cores 2 to each other, a coil 4 wound around a connected body constituted of the single cores 2 and connecting members 3, and a coating material 5, coating the peripheries of the connecting bodies 3 and coil 4. The method of manufacturing this antenna 1A includes a step of winding the coil 4, a step of connecting the cores 2 to each other via the connecting members 3, and a step of inserting the cores 2 connected to each other via the connecting members 3 into the hollow section of the wound coil 4. |
