<p>In the present invention, a power generation device that generates power using the movements of a passenger and that is capable of reducing loss of generated power is provided inside of a vehicle seat. The power generation device (20) is provided inside of the seat cushion (S1) of a vehicle seat (S), and is configured from a magnetic body (21), a spring member (22), and a power generator coil (23). With regards to the power generation device (20), the magnetic body (21) rotates around the vicinity of the power generation coil (23) via a transmission member (16) that uses a hinge (17) as a rotation shaft in order to rotate in conjunction with movement of the thighs of a passenger, and electricity is thereby generated in the power generation coil (23) through electromagnetic induction. The electricity generated from the power generation coil (23) is provided to a load unit (90) after being rectified by a rectifier (60) and stored in a storage battery (25). The power generation device (20), the storage battery (25), the rectifier (60), a control unit (70), and the load unit (90) are provided inside the vehicle seat (S) or on the vehicle seat (S).</p> |
