<p>An image processing apparatus functions as a server. When a reference request is received from a client (S1201), or a user's instruction for transmitting such address data to a client is received, and the address data to be transmitted has no domain name described therein, the apparatus complements the address data with a domain name (S1206, S1208), and then sends the complemented address data to the client (S1209). This makes it possible to export address data correctly to a designated destination, and to reduce failure of authentication.</p> |
