PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a configuration by which a part of multiple-fed documents can be prevented from being ejected irrespective of multiple-feed states.SOLUTION: A multiple-feed detection sensor 8 as multiple-feed detection means detects multiple-feed of documents conveyed in a conveyance path 14. A CPU 80 as control means determines a multiple-feed area where a plurality of documents are overlapped with one another from a detection result of the multiple-feed detection sensor 8, and stops ejection of the documents while the multiple-feed area passes through an ejection roller 12 as ejection means. Accordingly, part of the multiple-fed documents can be prevented from being ejected to a paper ejection tray 13. |
