PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that ensures high-speed durability and enables the driving stability thereof to be enhanced.SOLUTION: A belt layer 5 is disposed outside a carcass layer 4 in a tire radial direction in a tread section 3 and is composed of a plurality of belt plies comprising belt cords covered with a rubber, the belt cords obliquely extending with respect to a tire equatorial plane CE. A belt reinforcing layer 6 is disposed between the carcass layer 4 and a tread rubber 7 and is composed of a reinforcing ply comprising a reinforcing cord covered with a rubber, the cord extending at an angle of 10 or less with respect to the tire equatorial plane CE. In an inner region of a land section 9s located on the inside in a tire width direction of a shoulder main groove 8s that is located at an outermost position in the tire width direction in a plurality of main grooves 8, the belt reinforcing layer 6 is arranged on the inside in the tire radial direction of the belt ply 52 that is located at an outermost position in the tire radial direction in the plurality of belt plies; and in an inner region of the main groove 8, the belt reinforcing layer is arranged on the outside in the tire radial direction, of the belt ply 52. |
