<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin winder capable of preventing a thread from being curled, and manufacturing a bobbin which suffices for unwinding work which merely pays out the thread linearly. <P>SOLUTION: The bobbin winder which winds the thread in an 8-shape with respect to a case includes: a thread supplying means supplying the thread; a thread winding means 200 which winds the thread around the case; and a thickness adjustment means which adjusts the thickness of the thread wound around the case. The thread winding means 200 is constituted of a thread feed part 210 and a case holding part 220. Each of the thread feed part 210 and the case holding part 220 is provided with a crank mechanism, and reciprocates in a direction orthogonal to each other by the crank mechanism.
