Disclosed herein is a formulation for application to a turfgrass, comprising: a paraffinic oil;an emulsifier preferable selected from the group consisting of natural or synthetic alcohol ethoxylates, glycerol oleate, polymeric surfactants, sorbitan fatty acid esters, and mixtures thereof;a polychlorinated (Cu II) phthalocyanine;a silicone surfactant preferable selected from the group consisting of trisiloxanes and silicone polyethers represented by formula (I); a chemical fungicide selected from the group consisting of a demethylation inhibitor, a methyl benzimidazole carbamate and a dicarboximide; andwater,wherein the formulation is an oil-in-water emulsion and the emulsifier and silicone surfactant are selected such that the polychlorinated (Cu II) phthalocyanine is maintained in dispersion in the oil-in-water emulsion for delivery to the turfgrass. The disclosure also relates to a method of controlling a pest on or a disease of a turfgrass, wherein the method comprises applying to the turfgrass said formulation in an amount that is effective for controlling the turfgrass pest or disease, wherein the pest is a fungus or the disease is caused by a fungu, and wherein the fungus is Sclerotinia homoeocarpa, Typhula ishikariensis, Typhula incarnata, Microdochium nivale, or any combination thereof, or the disease is dollar spot, fusarium patch, gray leaf spot, spring leaf spot or melting out disease, or snow mold; orthe pest is an insect or the disease is caused by an insect, wherein the insect is a fall armyworm or a sod webworm. |
