<p>Provided is a training apparatus enabling effective training not only of the trunk but also of the muscles surrounding the area from the pelvis to the hip joint. This training apparatus is characterized in being provided with: a pelvis-securing means having a rotation center substantially coinciding with the center axis of the body when the user is in a standing position, the pelvis-securing means being capable of moving toward and away from the rotation center; and a rotary mechanism support means for causing the pelvis-securing means to move vertically parallel to the rotation center while allowing the pelvis-securing means to rotate around the rotation center, the rotary mechanism support means supporting the pelvis-securing means so that the pelvis-securing means can be aligned with the height position of the iliac bone of the user. The pelvis-securing means is disposed so as to be able to press against the height position of the iliac bone of the user from the front side or the back side of the user, or is disposed respectively at the front and back of the user so as to sandwich the height position of the iliac bone of the user from the front and back.</p> |
