PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool that suppresses chips and coolant from sticking to a tool magazine, makes the tool magazine work well, keeps good positional accuracy or the like for a tool with respect to a grip arm and a machine main spindle part, and prevents machining accuracy from deteriorating.SOLUTION: A tool magazine of a tool exchange apparatus 10 of a machine tool 100 circulates a plurality of moving carriages to which the grip arm configured to grip a tool holder 11 is attached along a rail. A main spindle head 32 machines a workpiece by mounting the tool holder 11 and using a tool held by the tool holder 11. A magazine cover 90 includes an upper plate part 91 covering the upper part of the tool magazine, an outer plate part 92 covering the upper part on the outer periphery side, a lower plate part 93 covering the lower part on the outer periphery side, and an inner plate part 94 covering the inner periphery side. The magazine cover 90 prevents chips and the like produced when machining from sticking to the tool holder 11 and the like. |
