PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make steering stability at high speed traveling of a vehicle and prevention of direction deviation when the vehicle receives side wind compatible by opening/closing of a front grille. SOLUTION: Ground-contact load of a front wheel is increased by closing the front grille when strength of the side wind is large based on strength of the side wind detected by a pressure sensor and lateral acceleration of the vehicle detected by a lateral acceleration sensor, thereby, direction deviation of the vehicle can be prevented when the vehicle receives the side wind (see area A). The ground-contact load of a rear wheel is increased by opening the front grille when strength of the side wind is small, the steering stability at high speed traveling can be enhanced (see area B1). When the large lateral acceleration is detected at emergency such as avoidance of collision, the ground-contact load of the front wheel is increased by closing the front grille even if strength of the side wind is small, thereby, avoidance of collision can be effectively performed by making steering responsiveness sharp (see area B2).
