An apparatus (1) for processing an eyeglass lens, which is to process the circumference of a lens, comprises a lens rotating unit (100a) which rotates a pair of lens chuck shafts (102) for supporting eyeglass lenses; a processing part rotating unit (300, 420) which rotates a processing part rotary shaft (161a, 400a) mounted with a processing part (168, 400) for processing the circumference of a lens; a moving unit (100c) which moves to the gap between the shafts where the distance between the lens chuck shaft and the processing part rotary shaft is changed by using either the lens chuck shaft or the processing part rotary shaft as a moving shaft; a waterproof cover (61) which has a first long hole (75L, 75R), into which the moving shaft is inserted, and forms a processing chamber (60); and a shield unit (70) which is installed on the waterproof cover (61) in order to prevent grinding water from leaking from the first long hole, and rotates according to the movement of the moving shaft. |
